29 CREATIVE WAYS TO TRY SOMETHING NEW AND FUN


We know you are super duper busy, but if you want to change up your daily routine, put a little ump in your daily routine...little things you can do with just 10 seconds, or 10 minutes 






  • if you have 10 seconds

    • pop a piece of gum - chewing it may help you keep your diet on track
    • laugh - it will not only lift your spirits but also work your obliques and help burn calories in the process
    • layer a spritz of your guy’s cologne over your own perfume to create a sexy blend.
    • spritz perfume onto the inside of your forearms. the skin there is just the right scent-stimulating temperature

  • if you have 60 seconds

    • use coconut water in place of plain water when making oatmeal - it will add flavor and a healthy dose of key electrolytes and minerals
    • dial down your thermostat to 64 degrees F. Research shows that the colder temperatures can help alter your metabolism and lead to weight loss
    • take seven long, slow breaths. experts say this can amp up your heart rate variability (a health indicator linked to more frequent orgasms
    • change the background color of your computer screen to black--the color may help curb your appetite
    • do some burpees. even one minute of this intense move can significantly amp up your heart rate.

  • if you have 3 minutes

    • make your bed. Experts say daily chores can amp up your willpower just as strength training can build your muscles.
    • make a Pilates or yoga date with girlfriends instead of hitting happy hour together--you’ll burn calories while bonding
    • pour leftover wine into an ice-cube tray and freeze it. use the cubes to chill your next glass of vino (or cook with them!)
    • put grapes in the freezer to later eat as frozen treats
    • drop and do the superman for 1 minute, rest for 15 seconds, then repeat for total of 3 times. this is a good exercise for your back

  • if you have 5 minutes

    • drop and do as many pushups as you can, do your best for 1 minute, rest for 15 second, then keep going for 5 minutes total.
    • take the skin pH-level test to discover if your skin is overly acidic.
    • count how many swallows it takes you to finish an 8-ounce glass of water. That way, you can keep track of the amount you’re drinking throughout the day, whether it’s from a glass, fountain, or bottle
    • Ladies, dig your bronzer out from the bottom of your makeup bag and flip and try new ways to get a summer glow in the dead of winter
    • ask your significant other what (s)he thinks about the latest Hollywood affair--it’s a nonthreatening way to gauge how (s)he feels about fidelity and strengthen your bond. 
    • See if you can finish one Sudoku puzzle, or go to Amazon and buy a brain teaser 

  • if you have 10 minutes

    • touch yourself--breast exams can save lives
    • breathe in for eight counts, then out for eight counts, and repeat for 10 minutes. this simple daily practice can reduce stress - a major cause of weight gain
    • use a nail file to give your tips an almond shape-- try something new
    • paint your nails charcoal, silver, or nickel. Very 50 Shades of Gray
    • set your alarm for 10 minutes: breathe in deeply for 8 counts, then exhale for 8 counts. repeat until rings. This is suprisingly relaxing

  • if you have 15 minutes

    • start a fashion file on Pinterest for shopping for shopping inspiration so you can bring pictures along on your next spree.
    • go for a pre-sex run. one study found that doing so can amp up your arousal by 150%, which means getting frisky will feel that much better
    • Do a session of HIIT --plenty of research shows it's extremely beneficial. Try my favorite HIIT from Michael Chang, a self-made YouTube star with a very friendly character and (totally sexy) six-pack abs
