For all you super duper busy women out there, who try to do it all, let me tell you one thing that can save you a ton of time: AMAZON PRIME.
Now i’m sure you’ve all heard of it...pay $79 a year, and never pay for shipping when you buy...AND you get free 2-day UPS shipping for most items. Items have to be “prime eligible”-- and most items over $6 or $7 are Prime Eligible, so no worries there.
Try Prime for 30 days for free; or get it for free for 1 year if you meet one of the following criteria:
- You’re a student (with a valid .edu email account)
- you’re a new mom (or a mom) (well…no verifiable requirements here. just 30 days free, though, plus 15% discount on eligible baby products such as diapers)
With Prime, it’s just so easy to buy something anytime anywhere from your computer, phone, or tablet, and have it delivered to your door within 48 hours (sometimes sooner).
Sometimes when I’m cleaning the house, going about my business, I’d realize I need a new lightbulb for the kitchen.
Then when I was at the computer, I realized I need some Command strips to hang up pictures...
These things that I need to buy mentally go into my “to-buy” list, or sometimes I’d write them down….but never quite get around to them. They go into my “to-buy” list and pretty much stayed there. . .sometimes for weeks on end. And every god d**n time I walk by the kitchen, I tell myself “Ergh, I need that damn lightbulb”. Now there’s a solution.
With Prime membership, the instant I realize I need a new lightbulb, I take out my Android, click on a few buttons, and voila! I got a new lightbulb delivered to my doorstep two days later.
I live and breathe Amazon Prime. The other day at work I overheard a co-worker spurted out "What's Amazon?". My jaw dropped, and I almost wanted to punch her in the face. That's when I decided I needed to write this.

I'm that person you'd like to punch in the face! lol I would occasionally buy things online here and there but not enough to familiarize myself with amazon prime, though a close friend did say that I need to sign up for it asap in order to buy books for better price than going to actual stores :P
